The third approach that I have started to develop is the 'Aloe' range of cosmetics, for which I have chosen to go down the monkey visual route. After initial research I discovered that the main source of ingredients for the Aloe range is Guatemala, from which I found the 'Black Howler Monkey' is a prominant animal. I decided to use another illustration, similar in style to the two previous, and develop around it with a different colour scheme and a different shaped label. The flip book shows my progression with the visuals and how I started with a basic illustration that, when combined with type and composition, has commercial value.
