This post gives you an insight into my process of design for the quote compositions. The first thing I do is gather a range of what I, and other fans, consider to be the most famous and funniest quotes from each character. I paste all these into an illustrator document and change them all to 'Steelfish' for continuity.

I then break each quote up into sections depending on the way they are spoken. I then make sure that each portion of the one quote is the same size, align them centrally and ensure equal spacing between each line. This is the most lengthy part of the entire thing but it does have effective results as seen below.

I will then go on to arrange each of these into a more interesting composition with the inclusion of strokes to act as a separation tool.
