For our task this week it seemed as though we were asked to do something that would actually be beneficial to us as designers and build our reputation. We were asked to create a CV, a business card and a compliments slip, all with the same basic format. Graham told us to make them look as professional as we could manage, but in general not to spend too much time on them because they would all probably be wrong anyway. Below are the three resolutions that I created. I used the font 'TW Century MT' and came to this decision predominantly because of how my first name looked using it, for example how it makes the counters look appealed to me and also its fixed width meant there are no parts in the word that appear heavier than others. It also comes in a variety of weights which allows for variation. I chose a sans serif typeface because I think it better represents myself and my work; clean and efficient.
Apparently I'm an expensive, organic beer.
