Beverage/Community Development

I started working on the designs for the beverage component of my brief. I am following the design approach that I have used for previous items such as the chocolate packaging and also the sandwich prototypes. Below is a screen cap of a few variations of a design that would ideally sit on top of the bottle. I suppose it would technically be the first thing for people to see when opening the bottle so it has be bold and eye catching. I think I will use a bold shade as the predominant colour, rather than black or white.

Below is a screen shot of a final composition of quotes for one beverage, in this 'Abed's Nutty Banana smoothie'. The whole idea is that I will trim the composition using the red line box underneath as a guide. This will then be the perfect size for wrapping around a pre-bought juice bottle. I think I would like to print it on tracing paper, that way the colour of the juice in the bottle will be slightly visible. I think this could add a nice touch.

Below here are possible ideas for beverage labels. Obviously the composition above will be the main focus but I need to create a section for the specifics relating to individual character traits. As you can see I have used predominantly black with splashes of colours from the 'peacock' motif. The only problem I have here is that there are only six colours in the NBC logo, and I have seven variations. I think I'll probably just have to use one colour twice.

The examples above show variations of one design based on different characters. However the image below shows different compositions all together. I'm not sure whether to use a bold colour as the main aspect or keep it more sophisticated with black and white and hints of colour.
